Dear Lit Motors Community,
Hope you’re all having a warm holiday season with friends and family! Here's this month's update.
Mini 1.0
Multiple aspects of the Mini 1.0 build are progressing. In mechanical integration, the gyros are spinning after calibration on the vehicle controllers. The steering mechanism fabrication has been completed, installed, and aligned. The motor has also been calibrated to its controller. Â

In software development, an interface has been developed for the radio receiver that will be used to control the vehicle. This will allow the control software to use the driver commands. For example, the commands will be linked to the steering motor controller to move the motor when the driver moves the wheel on the remote control.

In modeling and simulation, work has been done to optimize the control for multiple conditions. Almost all of the electronics have been transferred from the development bench and installed on the Mini 1.0 driving platform.

While integration and testing of some of the major subsystems has begun, there is still development to be completed. Integration will progress by incrementally adding and testing capabilities while new capabilities are developed.

More updates to next month. Thanks for being part of Lit!Â
