We want to thank you all once again for your support and encouragement throughout our Wefunder campaign. None of this is possible without you.
With our crowdfunding campaign having officially closed, we’ve been collecting data from the campaign and working to fulfill remaining investor perks. We also want to give a shout out to all the new pre-orders from this month and welcome you to our community!
It’s been another productive month here at Lit Motors - let’s dive in!
Oregon Innovation Showcase
This month, Lit Motors participated in the first annual Oregon Innovation Showcase, an event in downtown Portland which brought together venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem leaders in Oregon’s deep tech sector.
CEO Danny Kim and Tre Hendricks attended and presented the Subscale CMG Tech Demo and connected with investors and emerging startups.
Oregon State Legislature
Earlier this month, CEO Danny Kim gave testimony before the Oregon State Legislature, providing an overview of Lit Motors, our mission as a deep tech robotics startup, our plans, and potential to partner with Oregon.
Our shared vision with our world class production team and dominant international patent portfolio as its foundation is to ignite a new industry that will create billions of dollars of annual economic impact and solve for traffic congestion and reduce CO2 emissions globally.
Techlandia Podcast - Interview
CEO Danny Kim was also interviewed this month on Techlandia, a podcast by Tim Winner and the Technology Association of Oregon that’s focussed on discussions centered around the tech industry, advancements, and their anticipated impact.
Danny discussed how he started Lit Motors, the history of the company, and future plans with our world class production team.
CFO Announcement: Larry Rosenfeld
We’re excited to welcome Larry Rosenfeld as our new Chief Financial Officer. He brings over 40+ years of experience in technology and startups, with an impressive track record of leadership and innovation. He was the founder and CEO of Concentra Corp, which was successfully acquired by Oracle.
Larry has also served as CFO and Head of Strategy for World Clinic and JobSiteCare. Beyond these roles, he’s an active board member, advisor, and CEO coach for companies spanning software, AI, medicine, dentistry, and telecommunications.
He also built one of the world’s fastest sailboats, and set a number of world records across oceans. Please join us in giving Larry a warm welcome to the team!
