In a $1.4T automotive industry, Lit Motors is a Deep Tech Robotics startup with a robust patent moat, perfectly positioned in between Waymo, Boston Dynamics, and Tesla. We didn’t start with technology and look for an application - we identified a real-world problem, designed a solution, and developed the tech to make it possible. 

Lit is solving for global traffic congestion using CMGs and Robotics in an Autonomous-Balancing Electric Vehicle (AEV). 

Similar to other deep tech startups trajectories above, we’ve reached an inflection point thanks to the support from our Wefunder campaign.

Over the past year, we received great support with more than 1,000 investors helping us reach $1.6M of combined funding through Wefunder and off-platform, supporting our vision for the AEV and the future of Lit Motors! We’re incredibly grateful for your support and being part of our growing community! Equity crowdfunding is an insightful way to test the market for our vehicle of the future, and our demand has increased by more than 60% over the past 14 months. 

Now that we’ve reached the end of our Wefunder campaign, we wanted to reshare our comprehensive video update from earlier this month. 

Over the past year, we made real progress: 

• We built a Development Chassis

• Designed a New Sub-Scale CMG

• Validated our Comprehensive Control System

• Started building our X-1 Driving Prototype 

• Expanded Engineering & Management Team

• Pre-orders increased to 1500+ 

2025 is all about developing a full-scale X-1 driving prototype for production. Your support has made all of this possible and continues to fuel our progress. Now that our Wefunder campaign has ended, this is a final reminder to complete your investment if there is still action required.
