We have finalized some of the interior constraints for the seating concept and CAD for the “H-Point.” This is the first step that major car companies like Audi or VW perform in beta development as they prepare for serial production.
With decades of experience in this process, Volker, Stefan, and Mirko have been assessing the previous AEV CAD models. They have made modifications to ensure adequate head & leg room and comfortable seating for the 96% percentile male and 5th percentile female drivers.
In addition, modifications for the passenger have also been applied: 90% (M) and 5% (F). This foundational study will translate to the safety concept with ingress and egress considerations.
