CONTROL MOMENT GYRO STABLIZATION

Since 1909, mechanical control gyroscopes revolutionized torpedoes and aviation navigation instruments. In the 1970s, the introduction of Control Moment Gyroscopes enabled a novel way to electronically fine-tune spacecraft attitude control systems. We have adapted this astronautic technology for a terrestrial application—unlocking a new era of transportation.

SAFER

The Autonomous-Balancing Electric Vehicle (AEV) platform is setting a new standard in two-wheel safety. We are creating the world's first vehicle to combine Control Moment Gyroscopes (CMGs), drive-by-wire steering, and modern safety features. 

 

Safety features include a space frame chassis protection, airbags, and seatbelts.
